Affirming gender, sexual and relational diversity, I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ folks, their partners and families, as well as with people in creative or unconventional relationships who may or may not identify as LGBTQ+.
I have always focused my professional efforts on supporting people who have been alienated from their loved ones and society and those who would like to step toward their more authentic selves. My goal is to provide a safe and welcoming environment

I’m Bronwyn (she/her), a counselling practicum graduate student for Outside the Box
Counselling. I have a background in child, youth, and community care work. I consider
relationship building to be at the crux of quality support. I am particularly passionate about
supporting my own community as a queer, neurodivergent woman. I am interested in
unpacking the ways systems can contextualize experiences. I aim to come from a place of
compassion. Anxiety, neurodiversity, and gender affirming support are three of my areas of
professional interest. In my free time, I can be found writing poetry, watching horror movies,
and spending time with friends.
Working with me may include a variety of practices such as somatic, response-based, and
systems focused. I want to offer support based on your preferences, goals, and needs. I see
counselling to open opportunities for learning and understanding of oneself and the world
around them.
