“The Chair in Transgender Studies invites all self-identified trans, non-binary, or Two-Spirit folks to a casual monthly drop-in gathering. You don’t have to be a student! While it is not exactly a free lunch, beer or pop and nachos are on the Chair!”
South Island Gender Variant Drop In Group
“A bi-monthly drop-in space for the diverse array of trans, gender queer, two-spirit, and gender variant individuals in the Southern Vancouver Island area. Second Wednesday and last Thursday every month from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the downtown Victoria Public Library (Main Branch – 735 Broughton St.).” Topics for upcoming meetings are posted on the FB event page, as well as accessibility information.
“We meet in the lobby of the Victoria Youth Clinic at Foundry Victoria on the 3rd floor at 818 Douglas Street. Our meetings are from 6-8pm on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month. Our meetings are primarily for those who identify as Two Spirit, trans and/or otherwise gender-diverse, though we welcome allies who want to discuss these topics through a gender-informed lens!”
